This full-day professional development is designed for educators and support staff working with students across 3rd–10th grade who present challenging behaviors. Participants will explore practical, evidence-based strategies that span from universal classroom practices to individualized supports, all within a framework that emphasizes connection, collaboration, and a positive school community.

Through discussion, case studies, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to:

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages positive behavior and engagement.
  • Build staff capacity to respond effectively to a range of behavioral needs.
  • Implement proactive classroom strategies and tiered interventions tailored to students’ individual needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to address challenges and share solutions in real-world contexts

By the end of the day, attendees will leave with actionable tools, a strengthened professional network, and confidence to support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth across 3rd-10th grade.
