Adam Seipel

Since 2008, I have taken my love of education to K-12 teachers and administrators. In the fall of that year, I started helping other teachers in my district incorporate Google Sites, Docs and other tools into their instruction. Later, I continued introducing educators to Google Apps by piloting a 1:1 Chromebook program in my high school English class in which my students self-published an anthology of their own writing.

I am currently focused on aligning ed tech practices with the research-based concepts from John Hattie’s Visual Learning studies.  Additionally, I have my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, am a Google Certified Trainer and Google Certified Innovator.

Curating Learning Resources

This session continues to build our student learning plans by exploring myriad digital resources, the concepts of Universal Design and Accessibility, and ways that you can super charge some of our commonly used tools like Docs, Slides, and YouTube to better serve students.

Artifacts of Learning and Feedback

The final session focuses on allowing flexibility in terms of student artifacts of learning as well as multiple feedback strategies.
